Bill McKaig - Master Piano Technician

Bill has over 30 years experience in piano tuning/voicing/regulating and completely rebuilding the highest quality pianos. Bill splits his time between in-home service appointments for his valued clients in Hillsborough County, and rebuilding pianos in his extensive workshop in South Tampa.

In his career, Bill has seen just about everything a piano can throw at a technician, and Bill enjoys helping other local piano technicians as they encounter challenging piano-related issues. Bill honed his technical skills developed early in life during his college years and educated himself further throughout his career through a combination of formal instruction, collaboration, self-study and experience. He continues to study piano design with insatiable curiosity.

Bill is a Registered Piano Techician (RPT) in the Piano Technicians Guild (PTG), and has served as an instructor and as an officer in the local PTG chapter, as well as a PTG instructor at the state and national levels.
